About Us
Hi, I’m the founder of CHEFS HAND Cafe — and yes, it really did start with just one pair of hands.
After years working behind the scenes in kitchens and cafes across Australia , I dreamed of opening a space that felt more personal. Not just a place to grab a coffee, but somewhere people felt genuinely welcome — whether you’re a regular local, a visitor from out of town, or someone in need of a quiet corner and a hot meal.
I opened Chef’s Hand Cafe with a simple idea: serve great coffee, honest food, and do it with a warm, friendly smile every single time. Every cup we make, every plate we serve, is done with care — just like I’d make for family.
What matters to me isn’t just what’s on the menu, but how you feel when you walk in. That’s why we’re proud to offer a “pay it forward” coffee initiative for those receiving PTSD treatment at the nearby hospital. It’s a small way to give back to a community that supports us.
We’ve been lucky to be called a “hidden gem”, praised for our scrumptious treats, kind service, and “coffee that’s always on point.” But to me, the real success is when people tell me they feel at home here — like they’re part of something.
If you’re reading this, thank you. Whether you’re a loyal customer or someone just discovering us, I hope to serve you soon — and with a smile.
